DIRTY THRILLS Sign Multi-Album Deal with Frontiers

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of British hard rock quartet DIRTY THRILLS for a multi-album deal.
Dirty Thrills have recently been hard at work in the studio recording their upcoming new album, “Heavy Living”. A highly anticipated first release for their new label home, Frontiers Music Srl, that is going to be full of explosive, pull-no-punches new songs. "Heavy Living" serves as the follow up to their well received EP releases and 2014 self-titled debut. The release will be accompanied by festival dates this summer and a full headline tour this fall.
Renowned producer, engineer, and mixer James ‘Lerock’ Loughrey is producing the album at Monnow Valley Studio in North Wales. Opened in 1975, the studio has played host to many a legend (like Black Sabbath and Robert Plant, to name a few) and James Loughrey himself has his own impressive track record including work with a diverse array of artists ranging from Skindred (official) to Lionel Richie to Manic Street Preachers to Björk and not to mention, Page and Plant and Def Leppard.
“The first time I saw the Dirty Thrills live I was blown away!” says James Loughrey. “I knew straight away that we needed to get into a studio to capture that raw energy and give them a record which would do their live show justice.”
The band’s live work has been building an impressive reputation as a perfect musical blend of sex, riffs, and lung-busting vocals and the aim is to capture that synergy in the studio, where according to bass player Aaron Plows, “the new album is shaping up to be a real treat.”
“We are honoured and beyond excited to be signing a multi-album deal with Frontiers,” says the band. “Many of the legendary bands on the label have hugely influenced our music and direction. We can't wait to spread the Dirty Thrills sound around the globe, make new fans to share our music with and hopefully inspire the next generation in the way we have been. Here's to the future with our new family at Frontiers!”

Self-Titled Debut Album Release

November 17

& Single 'No Resolve'

"Smouldering, soulful and unashamedly sexy"
- Powerplay Magazine

"Dirty Thrills are single-handedly bringing back 100% real rock and roll" - All Access Magazine USA

"Do yourself a favour and listen to this album, it will restore your faith in the new generation of musicians. This album is all about the music" - UK Arts Directory

Quickly re-writing the history books are Dirty Thrills, an exciting and charismatic rock 'n' roll quartet, straight out of the London grind, who release their debut self-titled album DIRTY THRILLS on November 17, along with single 'No Resolve'.

With the perfect musical blend of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll in their music, this group is most definitely one to watch out for. Fronted by Louis James (son of ex-Moody Blues singer Nicky James), with killer guitar riffs from Jack Fawdry and solid, sexy low-end grooves from the rhythm section of Aaron Plows and Stevo Corrigan, this unique outfit are bringing back old skool rock 'n' roll, whilst all the while applying their oh-so-appealing filthy edge.  Their influences flow like a stream of innumerable genres to produce a pool of sound similar to Queens of the Stone Age, Black Keys and Rival Sons, also taking care to include lashings of clever guitar riffs and vibrant Robert Plant-esque vocal lines.

Having already plied their trade in such venues as London's 100 Club, the main stage at O2 Academy Liverpool and Shepherd's Bush Empire, as well as having been given airtime on BBC Radio 2, the sky really is the limit for this earnest group looking to leave their mark on a genre crying out for their talents.

The band formed in late 2012, after a successful drunken jam night in a quiet village pub in Wiltshire. What started as an inconspicuous session quickly birthed an ambitious group with the drive and determination to take rock 'n' roll back to its glory days.

2013 saw the rise of Dirty Thrills as they are today, with the massive buzz from their debut EP, entitled 'Growing Young', already showcasing to the world what these youthful, but vastly experienced, musicians could offer.

For those who say rock 'n' roll is gone and buried, Dirty Thrills are the miracle proving there's life after death. For those who fear that the genre has been consigned to a place relevant only in history books and old scriptures, Dirty Thrills are the prophets of modernization, mixing old school style with electric flair. Describe their rise to prominence however you like, but they're here to stay and 2014 will bear witness to the elevation of the band now at the spearhead of the new era of rock 'n' roll.

Dirty Thrills play a celebratory album launch show on November 17 at The Barfly, Camden. Tickets available at http://www.ticketweb.co.uk
