Foreigner "4"spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts than any artist in the history of Atlantic Records, including AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, and went on to sell more than 9 million albums worldwide. Fans will see why it "Feels Like The First Time" when Foreigner debuts these new recordings of the best of Foreigner ‘4’ along with several other chart hits. The band recorded these live high-definition versions of their most enduring anthems at the Borgata Hotel’s Music Box theatre in Atlantic City on October 3rd and 4th, 2014.

The set features some of rock’s best-known hits including "Feels Like The First Time," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded" and Foreigner’s iconic ballad, "I Want To Know What Love Is," along with a selection of best songs from Foreigner ‘4’.  "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Urgent," "Juke Box Hero," "Girl On The Moon," "Night Life," "Break It Up" and "Woman In Black" are all featured with stellar performances.

"Our music has touched a lot of people worldwide" says Foreigner founder, lead guitarist, Mick Jones.  Also serving as executive producer of the new album, this Songwriters Hall Of Fame member wrote or co-wrote every Foreigner song and continues to lead his band to new heights.  Mick continues: "Unwittingly, we've weaved our music into the fabric of people's lives."

"Great songs, great performances and great production are timeless. "4" has all three in spades," says bassist and producer Jeff Pilson. "Bringing the album to life on stage with the energy and passion the band has always maintained, made us very happy.  We’re thrilled to give people a chance to really reflect on what a great and classic album '4' truly is."

Singer Kelly Hansen adds: "The idea for this recording came from the anniversary of the release as a way to celebrate. There are some tracks that were never previously performed live in this format, and it's great to be in a group with people who really 'get it' and understand how fortunate we are to be playing and performing such great material."

Two classic rock bands gave a big thank you to the Philadelphia Fire Department for coming to their aid last week.

The tour buses for Styx and Foreigner caught fire on July 2 in Northern Liberties. The buses were used for crews supporting the bands, in town to play at WMGK's Let Freedom Rock Fest.
Foreigner let fans know everyone was fine.

The fire started on the Styx bus and spread to the Foreigner bus, WMGK’s promotion director Dan Fein said.

Both buses were empty at the time, and people had already removed most of their belongings from them. No gear was damaged, Fein said.

To thank the Philadelphia Fire Department for their efforts, the bands gave $10,000 to the Philadelphia Fire Department Local #22 Widows Fund. During their show at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden last Thursday, the bands donated proceeds from the sale of their joint compilation album "The Soundtrack of Summer" to the local fireman's charity.

The groups were two of the hottest bands back in the '70s and '80s, Styx on the strength of hits like “Show Me the Way” and “Rockin’ the Paradise” and Foreigner with hits “Cold as Ice” and “Hot Blooded."
