'Smash' was mixed and mastered by bassist Matt Thorne and Pearcy and the legendary Beau Hill, the producer of RATT's first four albums, handled the mixing and mastering duties on the track 'I Can't Take It'.

Stephen will be supporting "Smash" with live dates in the U.S. and internationally.

"It took long enough to finish the new record 'Smash' and it is well worth the patience taken, giving every song as much attention as the next. Erik Ferentinos (lead guitars & co-writer), Greg D' Angelo (drums) and Matt Thorne (bass, keyboards) and myself didn't settle on any first, second or third takes. We let some songs grow if needed, then go back and complete it. We're very happy with the outcome, that we were able to experiment and grow with the new songs,' says Pearcy of the new album.

With over 15 million records and gold and platinum long form videos sold in the U.S. alone with RATT, touring the world with over 20 albums to his credit with other ventures, solo projects, compilations, best of records, and other bands he created, there is no slowing Pearcy down.

Pearcy is an accomplished songwriter with credits on all of RATT's records through the years (including "Out Of The Cellar", "Invasion Of Your Privacy", "Dancing Undercover" and more). Jizzy Pearl (Love/Hate, RATT, L.A. Guns) is pleased to announce that he has signed a worldwide deal with Frontiers Music Srl for the release a brand new full-length album.

Jizzy Pearl has been a fixture on the world famous rock scene of The Sunset Strip in L.A. and beyond since his band Love/Hate released their debut album BLACKOUT IN THE RED ROOM in 1990. "Blackout In The Red Room" received Best Record of the Year honors from Kerrang! and Metal Hammer in addition to being a critical and fan success. The Los Angeles Premiere Screening of INSIDE METAL: LA METAL SCENE EXPLODES Scheduled for Thursday June 2 and Monday June 6, 2016 at 7pm

The Los Angeles screening for the second Inside Metal title LA Metal Scene Explodes will take place Thursday June 2nd in Hollywood, CA at the Attic (formerly Cinespace) and Monday June 6th at The Regency Theaters Valley Plaza 6 in North Hollywood. This is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut Inside Metal film Pioneers of LA Hard Rock and Metal. This title will focus on the monumental era of the LA Metal Scene, from 1981 to 1986, when local hard rock and metal bands took Los Angeles by storm.

Inside Metal: LA Metal Scene Explodes is a two-volume DVD set featuring narration by John Bush of Armored Saint. DVD 1 will be released worldwide on June 10th with DVD 2 to be released in early August.

This summer the heat will be cranked up under the big skies of Montana as Rockin’ the Rivers marks its 16th year as one of America’s premier 3-day Rock Music Festivals.

Rockin’ the Rivers, taking place August 12th – 14th at The Bridge, near Three Forks Montana, will feature legendary vocalist Vince Neil, the voice of Motley Crue, alongside more than 30 bands on 2 stages.

Other top acts joining Neil at this year’s festival include Cinderella’s Tom Kiefer, Buckcherry, Ratt, Loverboy, Survivor, Firehouse, Steelheart, Royal Bliss, Heart by Heart and many more.

Held annually on the site known as “The Bridge”, Rockin’ the Rivers attendees get the full festival experience with the availability of onsite camping, a vendor midway featuring food trucks, merchandise and multiple bars.

The free Thursday night pre-party, held under the Tito’s Vodka Music Tent, offers attendees the opportunity to start the festival a day early with headliners Bobaflex sharing the stage with Second Sting (Scorpions tribute) and classic rockers Blue Tattoo.

TORONTO BASED Coney Hatch were one of Canada's brightest hopes during the mid eighties. They impressed fans and critics alike with their rambunctious brand of melodic hard rock, a sound imbued with a certain, some might say typically Canadian, quirkiness. Catchy, for sure, but also containing twists and turns that suggested the band had been students of a number of hard rockin' maple leaf acts from April Wine to the riff hungry swagger of Triumph and all points in between.

'Friction' was the band's third and, as it turned out, their final album. It was a record designed to infiltrate the mass market, with catchy hooks and a selection of punishing riffs. Issued in 1985 and crafted by renowned British producer Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T, Lynch Mob) the record was received with great critical enthusiasm, but hit a brick wall at their record company. With Def Leppard and Bon Jovi receiving major promotional pushes, Coney Hatch were sidelined and left, without the financial budget, to fight their own corner.

It was a crushing disappointment, leaving the band in a state of confusion and, ultimately, unable to carry on. Their legacy, however, continues to grow, with many citing 'Friction' as their finest and, possibly, one of the best albums released that year. Revisit the likes of 'This Ain't Love', 'Fantasy' and 'Burning Love' for proof positive that this record delivered on all fronts.

Everyone from M'tley Cr'e, Great White, Dokken and Quiet Riot were breaking records in one way or another, but it was five piece RATT who really condensed all that was truly exciting about the scene when their debut album 'Out Of The Cellar' exploded at MTV, radio and retail, giving them a double platinum album and a reputation second to none.

Touring non-stop, the band were quickly ushered back into the studio ' via a Hawaii song writing retreat - for their follow up album, the equally impressive 'Invasion Of Your Privacy'. Produced by Beau Hill, who masterminded their previous record, the music kept to the same ingredients, finding the band further exploiting their penchant for snappy melodies, heavy duty riffs and super catchy hooks. If there was any fatigue to be encountered then no trace could be found here, with the music retaining a polished and professional sheen that spelt instant appeal.

Tracks such as 'You're In Love', 'Lay It Down' and 'What You Give Is What You Get' became instant RATT classics bouncing out of the grooves and right into the public's heart. RATT'S RISE TO fame and presumably fortune was meteoric. Kicking around Southern California in various forms since the mid 70's, the band fully gelled in 1981, with the independent release of a well received debut mini album, which quickly led to a coveted recording contract with label giant Atlantic Records. Their debut album 'Out Of The Cellar' exploded out of the box ultimately reaching sales in excess of double platinum.

It was a level of success that few had predicted, elevating the band to MTV regulars and selling out arena tours. But it was a level of achievement that was not increasing as further records saw the band maintaining rather than expanding their profile. By the time of this album (their fourth) interest was still high, but the stellar achievements of the past were becoming a fast fading memory.

'Reach For The Sky', originally released in late 1988 and produced in the main by Mike Stone (Journey, Queen and Whitesnake), found the band in familiar musical territory, a style based on big hooks, shout-it-out-loud vocals and razor sharp riffs. It was the sound of the times alright, and although performing well (attaining Platinum status) the band were feeling the strain of their work load. In fact it was the final album to feature guitarist Robbin Crosby who would leave due to much publicised personal problems.

Los Angeles / Juan Croucier (RATT), Pete Holmes (Black N’ Blue), Mike Moore and Toni Aleman have formed a new group. They will be performing as, RATT’S JUAN CROUCIER. The band will be playing songs from the RATT catalog, exclusively.

Having solidified the core of the band (lead vocals, bass and drums), Juan and Pete set out to find the right guitar players for the group. After extensive auditions resulting from hundreds of submissions, they found two very talented guitar players in Mike Moore and Toni Aleman. Sharing the same passion, commitment and vision, they have been diligently rehearsing a set of over eighteen songs.

“We have left no stone unturned. We’ve been working long and hard. It’s all about the live show. We take this very seriously. Mike and Toni are simply killing it! There is a unique chemistry between the members of this band that is often so illusive. Our attention to detail has culminated in a fresh, energetic and modern twist on Ratt’s classic catalog of songs. I believe that anyone who loves Ratt will really enjoy this band too. THE CREATORS OF 'INSIDE METAL: THE PIONEERS OF LA HARD ROCK AND METAL' DOCUMENTARY FILM SERIES, WHICH FEATURES THE BIGGEST NAMES OF '80S METAL, OFFERS METAL FANS A CHANCE TO BE INCLUDED IN THESE HISTORICAL MOVIES THOUGH FANBACKED

The early '80s metal scene in Los Angeles has become legendary, as it spawned such worldwide headliners as M'tley Cr'e, Ratt, Dokken, W.A.S.P., and originally, Metallica (before the latter relocated to San Francisco). And the new documentary, 'Inside Metal: Pioneers of L.A. Hard Rock & Metal,' chronicles the entire scene.

Directed by Bob Nalbandian and produced by Metalrock Films, 'Inside Metal' features all-new interviews with countless bands and artists that thrived on the scene, and tell its story, first hand. This groundbreaking movie features exclusive and candid interviews with members of Metallica (Lars Ulrich), Ratt (Stephen Pearcy), Dokken (Don Dokken), Quiet Riot (Carlos Cavazo), W.A.S.P. 'Inside Metal' is about giving fans the real inside story from the behind the scenes world of metal and hard rock with in-depth interviews, ultra-rare concert footage and photographs, and an original music score from that era; in this no-holds-barred, never before seen, recollection of untold stories.
