Dallas, TX - March 2, 2016.  North American syndicated Rock radio show and website InTheStudio: The Stories Behind Historys Greatest Rock Bands reunites with multi-million selling international star Bryan Adams to talk about his latest album Get Up

Bryan Adams has been recording hits for four decades now, rekindling his famous songwriting partnership with Jim Vallance and recruiting ELO mastermind and producer Jeff Lynne to record some of the strongest songs Bryan has released in years. Bryan tells InTheStudio host Redbeard, The idea wasnt really ever to make an album though (with Jeff Lynne). It was really just to do a song or two and see how it goes and have fun.

Along with the warm close-miced Jeff Lynne production on Bryans catchy Thats Rock and Roll, Go Down Rockin, the celebratory song Brand New Day, the Beatlesque Dont Even Try, and the melancholy Yesterday Is Just A Dream, Bryan shares the back story of who he was channeling for the vocal performance on We Did It All.

I was thinking about Freddie Mercury. I was thinking about how when Freddie sang he was always so emotive and he was always convincing.  - Bryan Adams

Get Up
, Bryans 13th album, may be thirty-five plus years into his recording career, but as he tells InTheStudio host Redbeard, its as vital to him as the day he started making music.

I have the same exuberance and enthusiasm for writing music now as I ever have. I dont know if I write the same songs as I used to write. I think these stand up, and the true test of it is playing it live. These songs feel like theyve been in the set already for along time.  -  Bryan Adams.

Bryan Adams Recalls Reckless Success On 30th Anniversary

Dallas, TX - November 25, 2014.  North American syndicated Rock radio show and website InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands celebrates the 30th anniversary of Bryan Adams' 80s blockbuster Reckless.

In 1984 Bryan Adams found himself perched on the edge of a Rock 'N' Roll plateau. His third album Cuts Like A Knife had cracked the American Top 20 in sales and, thanks to MTV, Bryan's face was as well known as his rough-hewn voice. It was in November of that year when Bryan Adams released Reckless , an album that produced six Top 20 singles, 'Run to You', 'Somebody', the # 1 hit 'Heaven', 'Summer of 69', 'One Night Love Affair' and the duet 'It's Only Love' with legendary soul singer Tina Turner. The Reckless album went on to sell more than 12 million copies, making Bryan Adams one of the hottest performers in the world.

InTheStudio host Redbeard asks Bryan how, at age 24, was he able to write and produce such a comprehensive international hit album?
,
'It was like one big brain. Everyone was thinking the same thing. And that's what made this record work. Everybody was pulling in the same direction... When you make a record you don't actually think you're making a hit record. You wanna hope people like your music. When we were recording Reckless I never thought it would do what it did. It's just as simple as that.'

A Casual Guide To The Music Of Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams is one of the most successful Canadian singer-songwriters of all time. He rose to fame with his third album, 1983’s Cuts Like A Knife, before the release of his global breakthrough opus Reckless, which Adams celebrated in 2014 with the sold out 30th Anniversary Reckless Tour. His best known song remains ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’ which was the lead song for the 1991 hit movie Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. It also happens to be one of the best-selling singles in popular music history.
This book is about the music, from his self-titled debut album right up to recent studio releases, Room Service and 11.
From the author of the acclaimed Don’t Stop Believin’ – The Untold Story Of Journey and Electric World – A Casual Guide To The Music Of Journey’s Neal Schon, Reckless is the first book to exclusively explore the music of one of popular music’s great unsung heroes and Canada’s most famous rock export. The book explores his musical legacy and offers titbits of information and trivia about his various non-music projects but mostly this handy fans book is about the music of Bryan Adams.

Reckless is essential reading for Bryan Adams fans.
