SOTO started in 2015 derived from the idea of Jeff Scott Soto wanting to return to his heavier roots. So far they released 2 albums, “Inside The Vertigo“ (2015) and “DIVAK“ (2016), taking a short break while Jeff embarked on the supergroup Sons Of Apollo, alongside Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian, Billy Sheehan and Bumblefoot.
Now SOTO are returning under the same umbrella as Sons Of Apollo, signing with InsideOutMusic. A new album is currently being worked on and its material will continue to expand and move the band towards new heights whilst following up with their brand of Power Rock.

"The 1 year anniversary for probably the most horrible day of my life when SOTO bassist and one of my absolute brothers’ life was taken from us so abruptly…David Z's passing not only shocked all of us close to him, but the rest of the world mourned with us as reality set in that we would never see this incredible human being again!
The biggest compliment and tribute I and the band can pay to him is dropping a new SOTO track which David co-wrote with our own Edu Cominato in the back lounge of our tour bus while we traipsed around Europe on tour last Spring. His tracks on the demo were recorded so well we decided to lift his parts, finish the entire song around him and let you hear the final mark of his work that will also appear on the upcoming SOTO album we are currently writing.
The song is ‘Detonate’, which I wrote the lyrics about my own brother who was in a coma at that time…the words reflect someone in a lifeless shell/body still functioning enough to know they want to detonate, explode out of that body and come back to life.
With cooperation from the Z family, proceeds from the song once it is released for sale will all go to the David Z Foundation. Here are the details for those who would like to make their own contributions to this incredible person and cause.
We chose this day to honor our brother because we knew HE would get all the recognition for it that he deserves, today we praise you brother Dave, you are IMMENSELY missed, thought of EVERY DAY and now immortalized in song with us!"

As mentioned a few months ago, SOTO parted ways with our label & after much deliberation, we have decided to forge ahead independently as we continue to bring you new music into the future.
I’m not divulging anything new on how the music business has dramatically changed so much the past years…but we decided to change with it and our plan starts with YOU in mind later this week.

There is an accompanying video being pieced together by the talented Brian Z, younger brother of David, who directed and produced the ‘Unblame’ video for us that we’re hoping coincides with this new track.
From there, we will be releasing for purchase a new song digitally, about every month, once we return from the upcoming tour instead of the traditional long play CD. This not only allows us the time to work on songs individually but gives us a chance to put the quality behind each track instead of cramming to create an entire album in one go.

DangerAngel is a Hard/Heavy rock band coming from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2006, they have released two albums titled “Danger Angel” (2010) and “Revolutia” (2013). They are one of the most prominent bands in Greece and they maintain a healthy following around the world, after their two albums have been released worldwide to wide acclaim by fans and critics alike.
Members come from different backgrounds, Ethan Snow (guitars) and Rudy Rallis (bass) being former members of rock, hard rock and heavy metal bands like Sacrament, Vertigo and Delivers Of Rock, while AHAS (keyboards) came from a more funk-RnB oriented background, also being a founding member of the Christian Rock band “the Floks”, with whom he released two albums “No Matter What” (2003) and “Ystati Katharotita (tr. Ultimate Purity)” (2009). He was also the keyboards player for the Greek pop-rock band Nekyia (Warner Music) with whom he released an album titled “I Ekdikisi Tis Siopis (tr. Revenge Of Silence)” (2009). His ex-side project “Mamacita On Fire” was a band of a more Rock-RnB style. AHAS, is a certified keyboards, piano and jazz theory professor and also plays the trumpet. AHAS is also responsible for the Administration, Management and Maintenance departments of the “Anagennisi” (tr. Renaissance) Conservatory in Athens, Greece.
Tony V. (drums) was a former member of Silver R.I.S.C. in the early nineties, with whom he released an album in 1992, titled “Anything She Does”. Tony has been a sought after session drummer ever since.
Vocalist B.J. started his career at 17, being a member of Brazilian local bands like Henceforth and Skyscraper while he recorded his first album at 18 with The Pills, making his debut appearance in the Brazilian MTV. Constant member of the Brazilian hard rock band Tempestt, he released an album titled “Bring ’em On” in 2008 followed by a world tour. He released his first solo album in 2013, titled “Acoustic Heroes” as a tribute to his influences. Since 2009 he is a steady member of the Jeff Scott Soto band and since 2014 he is a member of the new Jeff Scott Soto project SOTO. In 2014, he performed with Talisman as a keyboard player and back vocalist for their much anticipated reunion performance at the Sweden Rock Festival. Apart from his amazing vocal talent, BJ expertly plays guitar and keyboards.
Danger Angel and BJ introduced the new lineup in 2014 with the brand new track and video “Will You Follow.”
The future for DangerAngel in 2016 is already set in motion. A new, exciting singer, a new album and a new music direction.
"It was only about Yngwie and I wanted to do something with camaraderie.. When Marcel Jacob took his life and Yngwie didn't acknowledge it, I made a statement that Yngwie is dead (to me) for not accepting our calls for his fallen brother.."

SOTO, featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, have completed their second studio album, Divak, out April 1 via earMUSIC.
Divak (pronounced "dee-vock") comes shortly after the band's debut release Inside the Vertigo. It's a mere 15 months later, partly due to singer Jeff Scott Soto's insistence on continuing to create and build a true brand for his new venture.
Once again, the album is produced by Jeff Scott Soto and drummer Edu Cominato. It was mixed by long time JSS engineer/associate John Ellis, as well.
The band features Soto on vocals; Cominato on drums; lead guitarist Jorge Salan; bassist David Z; and keyboardist/guitarist BJ. They are heavily featured on Divak, with their writing contributions together.
The first single "FreakShow" was co-produced/written by Tony Dickinson, who also co-wrote "The Fall," which was the first single from Inside the Vertigo. The track is an extension of the SOTO sound created especially for this new band.
SOTO will debut live in February 2016 with a string of East Coast U.S. dates, leading into the annual Monsters of Rock Cruise (East), alongside Steve Vai, Extreme, Queensryche, and countless headliners.
