JORN Launches 'Heavy Rock Radio' Covers Album June 3

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce JORN's new album, 'Heavy Rock Radio', due for release on June 3rd!

One of the greatest rock singers of our time, Jorn Lande returns with a unique album of covers of classics from artists and bands that have meant something special to him, and helped forge this talented man's own unique style.

Through Jorn's extensive career, which includes more than 40 albums of mostly original songs, he has also recorded great versions of several rock classics such as Thin Lizzy's "Are You Ready", UFO's "On and On", Deep Purple's "Perfect Strangers", and many more. Jorn also recorded a successful Ronnie James Dio tribute album, released in 2010. Every song JORN covers is treated with the utmost respect and "Jorn-ized" accordingly. A good example is his heavy sounding version of "I Walk Alone", first released by Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish).

"Heavy Rock Radio" is not an ordinary album of cover songs, it is truly a songbook of hits. Featured ' among others - are great versions of the Eagles' "Hotel California" and Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill", which gets the Jorn style treatment to become very powerful and epic, without losing its commercial touch. More great classics included are John Farnham's "You're The Voice", Queen's "Killer Queen", and two absolute melodic rock evergreen gems in Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Foreigner's "Rev On The Red Line".

The original concept of the album was to create a sort of jukebox of radio hits, but to avoid leaning too much on the pop side of rock, JORN decided to blend the tracklisting with a few more up tempo rock tracks as well, such as "The Final Frontier" by Iron Maiden ("probably the closest you get to anything commercial with Iron Maiden," says Jorn), "Live to Win" by Paul Stanley (a song which was also featured on the popular television series South Park), and a few hard rock classics show up as well from Deep Purple ("Stormbringer"), Dio ("Rainbow In The Dark") and Black Sabbath ("Die Young") to complete the mix.

Jorn says: "The most important thing was to treat these songs with respect towards the original versions, my goal was always to think that the original artist would be honoured and find my version relevant. At the same time my intention was never to try to compete with the original song and artist, but make it a strong alternative version to enjoy. At the same time it is a well deserved homage to these artists and bands, who influenced me strongly, and I have wanted to record these songs for quite some time but was always too busy writing and recording my own songs to make it happen. Originally I had a list of 40-50 songs I wanted to do, but I had to strip it down to about 15 songs before deciding on the final tracklist. This means that there are some unfinished business musically, and I will most likely record more of these songs in the future."

Since releasing the critically acclaimed Dracula "Swing of Death" album last year, Jorn has also been working on an album of brand new songs, which will be the successor to the 2013 Jorn album "Traveller", to be released in early 2017. Jorn's catalogue is getting too long to include in brief press statements, and his innovative and creative skills have led to him selling millions of albums worldwide and being a frequent entry on sales charts around the world including Billboard. Worth a mention is his years with German based MasterPlan, whom he recorded three albums with. Claimed to be the biggest selling Norwegian musical export, since the pop band A-ha, Jorn continues his rock crusade, and there are no signs of him slowing down yet.

The title "Heavy Rock Radio" came quite naturally, as the sound of this album feels like if it's tailor made for any rock radio station, and while Jorn's voice can be enjoyed on more than 40 albums in different rock and metal styles, this record is a special treat which will tide over all the fans waiting for the new original album which is being worked on at the moment.

Alessandro Del Vecchio & Friends with Toby Hitchcock 'Live at Frontiers XX Anniversary'

Frontiers Music Srl is very pleased to announce the now usual special Festival CD!

At the forthcoming Frontiers Rock Festival, we will release a strictly limited edition (500 copies) of Alessandro Del Vecchio & Friends with Toby Hitchcock 'Live at Frontiers XX Anniversary'.

Recorded last February 27th in Napoli, Italy at the party organized to celebrate the XXth Anniversary of Frontiers Records, the label wanted to make things really special. So Frontiers President, Serafino Perugino, asked Alessandro if he wanted to be part of the celebrations and if he wanted to perform a few songs live ' as an unforgettable moment for all business partners, friends and journalists attending the event. Further discussions brought Pride of Lions singer Toby Hitchcock into the picture. He agreed to come over from Indiana and have a stab at some true AOR and Melodic Rock classics 'in his own way'.

So the set includes a few tracks which showcase some tunes originally written by Alessandro and then performed by other artists, while the bulk of the show sees Toby Hitchcock taking care of lead vocals on classic Perugino's very own favourite songs, originally recorded by Surivor, Journey, Bad English, Foreigner and of course Pride of Lions too.

Alessandro Del Vecchio says: "When Serafino asked me to perform at the XX Anniversary party, I just couldn't say no. Frontiers to me is not just a label I work with. I'm proud to be part of the working team behind these great albums. I called in some of my best buddies in music and after a rehearsal with Toby, we flew down to Napoli, hoping we could burn the house down. Well, we did and with a lot of fun too! Serafino asked us to perform his "dream setlist", as we called it, and we took the challenge to go out and play those songs with barely 2 hours of getting together, to give it a flavour of a jam among friends more than a regular gig. The atmosphere was awesome and the smiles on people's faces were just worth the challenge! To me the most magical moment has been singing the song I wrote for Serafino's dad - "In The Name Of The Father (Fernando's Song)" - in front of his whole family. I almost cried when I opened my eyes at the end of my last note. That's what music is about and I hope you can enjoy these few songs and get the magic we experienced and lived that night. Long live Frontiers!"

Toby Hitchcock adds 'What an incredible honor to be a part of this celebration! When Serafino asked if I could come to Italy to sing for this event, I didn't hesitate one minute! It was an amazing experience for me to play for the Frontiers crew, but also share the stage with Alessandro and the guys. What an incredible group of musicians! I hope to rock the stage with them again someday! Thanks for having me Frontiers! Here's to 20 more years!!"'

The performing band was rounded up by experienced musicians such as Nik Mazzucconi (Edge of Forever) on bass, Marco Di Salvia on drums and Francesco Marras on guitars.  It was truly an unforgettable and unique night ' enjoy and celebrate with us!

TED POLEY Goes 'Beyond The Fade' May 13

Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the release of TED POLEY's new solo album 'Beyond The Fade' on May 13.
Best known as lead vocalist for the legendary Melodic Rock masters Danger Danger, Ted Poley is also an accomplished solo artist, having released two acclaimed releases, 'Collateral Damage' (2006) and 'Smile'(2007).
The story of 'Beyond The Fade' starts after Danger Danger's acclaimed performance at Frontiers Rock Festival in Milano in 2014, when he and the label developed the idea to work together on some new music. The next step was to speak to producer Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Edge of Forever) and with a band that he put together, Ted performed at the second edition of the Frontiers Rock Festival. A few months later, Ted came back to Italy to finish the vocals on the album.
Ted says: 'I am absolutely thrilled with the way the whole album came out. If I have one quote: "ITS AWESOME!" My great friend and co-producer Alessandro Del Vecchio brought my sonic vision to life and no request from me was too great for him toward his goal of making "The Ultimate Ted Poley Solo Album" and he surely delivered on his promise. We had alot of fun making the album and its obvious when you hear it. You can practically hear my smile while I am singing. We decided to make it sound BIG and there are a ton of backing vocals (in some cases more than 80 tracks of them!), along with great songs, soaring melodic guitar leads, pounding bass and big drums, all layered with cool keyboards... like a delicious Musical Cake! Save some room for dessert, I KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS ONE!'
With songs penned by the brothers Tom and James Martin (VEGA) and 'Hands of Love' written by Tony Bruno/Joe Lynn Turner Official Page, the sound of the record is nothing else but Ted Poley at his best, with immediately recognizable hooklines, amazing guitar work, immaculate production and total 80's attitude!

'Beyond the Fade' is sure to please not only Ted Poley's fans, but all fans of melodic hard rock. Don't miss this superb release.
Here is an EPK of the album with a LOT of stories from Ted (as usual):
'Beyond the Fade' tracklisting includes:
1. Let's Start Something
2. Everything We Are
3. Hands Of Love
4. The Perfect Crime
5. Stars
6. Higher
7. Where I Lost You
8. You Won't See Me Cryin'
9. We Are Young
10. Sirens
11. Beneath The Stars

Ted Poley: Lead Vocals
Issa: duet vocal on The Perfect Crime
Alessandro Del Vecchio: Drums, Keyboards, Backing Vocals

Resurrection Kings is another supergroup project from the minds of Frontiers Records and the production/writing hand of Alessandro Del Vecchio. It’s a similar formula to the similarly named Revolution Saints.
Alessandro Del Vecchio continues to grow in stature as a producer. This album has a big hard rock sound that is harder edge and rawer than his Revolution Saints production. The material also lends itself more to American hard rock than the more melodic tones of Rev Saints.

Of course, part of that is down to the fired up delivery of vocalist Chas West (Bonham/Lynch Mob). Joining the star vocalist is an equally impressive lineup of names:  Craig Goldy (Dio/Giuffria) shredding and riffing in such fine company as the rhythm section of Sean McNabb and Vinny Appice.

The album starts strong, but I’m not sure it holds together as well towards the end. The material becomes a little too familiar and I’m not sure why, but Chad West’s vocals throughout seem to always be at maximum volume. There isn’t a lot of light and shade here and by the end of the album, I’ve definitely heard enough.

Distant Prayer is a heavy, somewhat bombastic opener with a surprisingly commercial chorus and hook. I love the pace of the track, really gets the album off to a flyer.
Livin' Out Loud is much slower and finds itself in that heavy, slow groove that metal often uses –and I hate. Thankfully there’s a strong chorus in play and the song fits quite well between two faster tracks. If it wasn’t for the memorable chorus, this track really would have killed momentum,
Wash Away is pure commercial hard rock. A free flowing vibe and a big chorus and melodic verse. Very catchy and although miles heavier than Giuffria, it has a certain melodic kinship with the AOR legends.
Who Do You Run To has a classic 80s guitar squeal to kick it off and is another pretty commercial track, with a mid-tempo beat. It’s not a ballad but not quite a rocker either. But solid with another pretty decent chorus.

Fallin' For You is a moody mid-tempo tune that definitely reminds me of David Reece’s solo material. Big, moody, loud, but catchy in a metal kinda way. Some impressive guitar work within the 6 minute track.
Never Say Goodbye is as it suggests – a big commercial rock ballad. West soars, the chorus goes with him and AOR fans will enjoy this. The guitars still manage to shred behind the vocals.
Path Of Love is the kind of track I don’t normally like – slow, bluesy, big groove. It has musical integrity and some fine chops on display, but these types of song rarely have a great chorus. This one ain’t bad but this is where the album starts to lose me.
Had Enough moves a little faster but still holds a little in reserve. An ok chorus and some nice soloing feature.

Don't Have To Fight No More moves faster still and has a stronger chorus too. A good track to position here in the album’s sequence. It grooves and it flows well.
Silent Wonder has again, a less memorable chorus, but a good pace and some melodies that grow over time. But there’s no escaping the fact that the album has started to sound a little samey.
What You Take is similar to the last several tracks, featuring a strong sound, ok chorus and plenty of guitar flurries. It’s a bit slow and doesn’t feature a strong chorus to end the album on.

Great performances and a strong production. Goldy is the star of the show here I think and West delivers an authorative vocal, even if it is always set to 10. Or 11 even…
The songs aren’t as strong as the Rev Saints record, but this is a different musical beast.
It definitely hits the target of 80s inspired American hard rock, but perhaps could have been even better.

LIONVILLE Move to Frontiers Records for New Album

Release Year:
2016

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of LIONVILLE to a multi-album deal, with the first release scheduled to see the light of day in the second half of 2016.

LIONVILLE is musically akin to Toto, Richard Marx, Giant, Bad English, Survivor and Boulevard, with two acclaimed albums under their belt. The project was started by Stefano Lionetti, an Italian songwriter, singer and guitarist, together with his brother Alessandro. After a few years playing around his hometown, Stefano started LIONVILLE with the encouragement and help of fellow Italian musicians Pierpaolo 'Zorro' Monti and Alessandro Del Vecchio. Together they raised the interest of singer Lars Safsund of Work of Art, who gladly took on the core of the lead vocals for the project.

Now, LIONVILLE Official is ready to embark on this new venture with much enthusiasm. 'I'm definitely excited with this new deal, this is a dream coming true for me,' says Stefano Lionetti. 'I believe that today marks the beginning of a new wonderful artistic page for LIONVILLE and we'll start very soon to record the material that was written for the new album. I'd like to thank Frontiers' President and A&R director Serafino Perugino for strongly believing in LIONVILLE and for giving me the opportunity to work with the label of many of my heroes! Thank you all for listening to my music, I really hope that our amazing fans will be happy with the next LIONVILLE records. Have a great 2016!'

Lionetti will write most of the songs, and will produce the album taking care also of guitars, keyboards and some vocals, while the album will be mixed and mastered by Alessandro Del Vecchio (who will also handle some keyboards too) and will of course feature again Lars Safsund on the main lead vocals along with Michele Cusato (guitars), Giulio Dagnino (bass) and Martino Malacrida (drums).

RESURRECTION KINGS Debut Album out in January 2016 on Frontiers

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of the highly anticipated self-titled debut album from RESURRECTION KINGS on January 29.

Today the band releases the first video from the new project for the song “Who Did You Run To”. The video can be viewed below:

Digital pre-orders for the album are available now and include an instant download of "Who Do You Run To". Get yours here: http://radi.al/ResurrectionKings

RESURRECTION KINGS is a new band centered around the talents of former DIO and GIUFFRIA guitar player, Craig Goldy. Everything starts from a set of demos he recorded with singer Chas West, a guy with an unbelievable set of pipes, who has worked with such bands as the JASON BONHAM BAND, FOREIGNER, LYNCH MOB, TRIBE OF GYPSIES, and 3 LEGGED DOGG.

It all started five years ago when Craig Goldy asked me to get together to write,” says Chas. Out of those demo sessions, the song “Livin’ Out Loud” in particular strongly impressed Frontiers' President, Serafino Perugino who asked Craig to build up a project/band around that musical concept. He also suggested Sean McNabb for bass (LYNCH MOB, DOKKEN, QUIET RIOT), while Craig later brought in former DIO bandmate Vinny Appice on drums.

“Serafino wanted to make an album with famous musicians from the 80’s and I was flabbergasted when he asked me to participate” says Craig Goldy. “We’ve all know each other for a long time and it was a pleasure to work with everyone – my God with Chas, Sean and Vinny that’s a killer line-up!”

Frontiers in-house writer and producer Alessandro Del Vecchio (Revolution Saints, Hardline, Rated X) offered his services to the band and wrote (or co-wrote with Goldy) a few tracks to round up the material that was available. “He is a great songwriter, producer, musician and singer” says Goldy, “some of the demo versions already had vocals and everything else. So all we did was learn the songs and did them our way. When Sean and Vinny got hold of these songs they really came alive and gave me automatic inspiration to write and perform on top of what was already written”.

The resulting album is an impressive example of Classic Hard rock with a contemporary production and edge. Think Whitesnake “1987” mixed with DIO’s “Dream Evil”, with a touch of classic Zeppelin and Rainbow and you will not be far from the end result. An extremely strong record where the musicians are able to stretch their wings and please their numerous fans!

Tracklisting includes: Distant Prayer; Livin' Out Loud; Wash Away; Who Did You Run To; Fallin' For You; Never Say Goodbye; Path Of Love; Had Enough; Don't Have To Fight No More; Silent Wonder; What You Take.

Going one better than Level 9, but not quite turning the dial to 11, the partnership of vocalist Russell Allen and Bassist/producer Mat Sinner form the new project Level 10.
Joining in is powerhouse guitarists Roland Grapow and Alex Beyrodt; Randy Black on drums and Alessandro Del Vecchio on keyboards (yes, him again!).
Mat Sinner doesn’t produce bad sounding records and Russell Allen doesn’t deliver substandard vocals, so there are two big ticks.

Songs is what it is all about. On this 12 track debut songs are provided by Sinner & Allen, Alessandro del Vecchio, Magnus Karlsson, Alex Beyrodt, Carsten Schulz, Sander Gommans & Amanda Somerville. Thing is, there’s no credits assigned to each track, so you have no idea who really wrote what.
The collection of names indicates that things could be quite varied on the album, and so it turns out to be. But apart from a few real highlights, while the album sounds great, I found most of the material lacked a real spark or hook to draw me back in.

The album opens with Cry No More - an absolute blinder of a song - a full metal blast with a great hook and some awesome vocals.
Unfortunately it’s followed by Soul Of A Warrior - possibly the worst track on the album - a near 6 minute plod fest that never seems to end and kills the momentum of the opening track.
When The Nighttime Comes picks things back up with an improved pace and better chorus hook.
But then once again, another plodder. One Way Street has a pretty forgettable chorus and not much life to it.
As if going back and forth between good and not, Blasphemy is a more hard hitting metal.
Last Man On Earth then follows the pattern, with a pretty drab and forgettable chorus while In For The Kill cranks things into high gear, even if only for 4 minutes.
Of the last 4 tracks, the metal ballad All Hope Is Gone stands out as an album highlight; Demonized a solid melodic metal track following straight after.
The others I don’t care for unfortunately.

A great looking project on paper and I expect there might be a sequel at some point – as the album title suggests, but the participants will need to ensure a more consistent group of songs to make a lasting impression in a crowded market.

Any project touting Deen Castronovo on lead vocals is going to get my attention and enthusiasm. To add Mr. Melody Jack Blades and the righteous Doug Aldrich turns a triple play into a home run.
Overseeing the project in man of the moment Alessandro Del Vecchio, adding his always brilliant keyboards, plus composing most of the songs and adding his deft touch to the production, which I think has to be his most accomplished effort yet.
‘It is a musician's record,' states Castronovo of the project. Indeed it is. There are a plethora of examples of exquisite musicianship from all throughout the record, none more so than Castronovo himself, who delivers a masters clinic on how exactly to play on a rock record with power, soul and finesse.

While I am somewhat hesitant to embrace superstar projects that aren’t born from a natural evolution of personalities and circumstances, this project totally makes sense and thanks to some amazing songs from Del Vecchio, delivers in spades.
Of course I’d prefer all three guys to be amongst the writing credits, but now this album is done and done so well, perhaps discussions about the next album will allow that to happen. And there sure will be a follow up to this. It’s just too good.

Back On My Trail is a dramatic album opener that rocks as intended. Upbeat and driven by a thumping beat and some hard edged, but melodic guitar riffs.
Deen bursts through the speakers with power and authority in his own natural tone, which is a combination of the sweet tone of Steve Perry and the power of Jeff Scott Soto.
He lets rip a few notes that simply stun. And his drumming is quickly simply insane. There are drum fills and progressive twists throughout the song.
A terrific guitar solo with numerous flourishes throughout shows what a master Doug Aldrich is, while Jack Blades’ bass truly thumps away.
The song itself is a powerhouse melodic hard rocker that sounds like Journey meets Night Ranger, but with the sonic edge that Doug brought to Whitesnake. Harmonies abound and the chorus is simple, but memorable and gets better with every listen.

Turn Back Time is co-written by Alessandro and Jack Blades and is an easy choice for the first single. The feel good anthemic and uptempo melodic rocker sees Deen and Jack share lead vocals, with Deen doing his finest Journey style melodies and everyone joining in to take the chorus over the top. Some more tasty guitar soloing and an infectious foot thumping beat makes the song a clear winner. Deen again is a monster on drums. How does he do it?

You're Not Alone sees Alessandro Del Vecchio’s piano opens the first ballad of the album. It’s only a matter of seconds before the power of this song is on display. Arnel Pineda and Deen share lead vocals in a very recent era Journey-esque track that features layers of keyboards and rich musical depth. It’s a big power ballad that reminds me heavily of the more dramatic songs off the LRS album (also written by Alessandro). It’s a big and powerful ballad where vocals are the emphasis and there’s plenty of them!

Locked Out Of Paradise is a monster melodic hard rock tune. It’s one of the heavier album tracks and is maybe the most powerful song I have heard Deen Castronovo appear on since Hardline. The drumming is stunning, while the vocals are pure Perry-goes-metal.
The chorus gets better and better and the song structure is such that it takes the classic melodic hard rock format, but modernizes it. Doug’s guitar playing is sublime from start to finish.

Way To The Sun features an acoustic guitar and a soulful vocal greeting the start of the next track. Another ballad? Not sure I’m ready for that, but that vocal! Then 1 minute in, the song bursts to life, with the full power of the band in action. The chorus is beautiful – harmony vocals, a powerful drum rip, an authoritative guitar riff. Neal Schon guests on the track with a typically soulful flurry of guitar chords that is pure Journey. The track continues building throughout, so by this time it’s in full epic mode, with vocals, guitars and harmonies. Beautiful track.

Dream On is a song written by Erik Martensson, with Johan and Kris Becker, Alessandro and Jack Blades. The combined collaboration works, as this is a brilliant pure melodic rock stadium anthem, with Deen sounding like a raspier Escape/Frontiers era Steve Perry.
The chorus is pure ear candy and the energy infectious. Erik Martensson’s writing influence here is undeniable. Melodic bliss.

Don’t Walk Away is another ballad and to be honest, at first I thought it was too early for another ballad, but once again, that fear is dismissed with the first note Deen sings. Wow, this guy has soul and passion that’s been kept hidden for too long.
The song starts as a soft piano ballad, with Deen and Alessandro featured together until the chorus sees a full band accompaniment. And what a chorus. A hit single in any other era.
A monster Alessandro song that is pure Journey. The end of the song is simply epic and some of the notes Deen hits are insane. This song features some big big vocals and a great guitar solo too.

Here Forever is another ballad, but like each slower track before it, it is different once again and stands on its own. It’s probably one ballad too many and it does make me question the sequencing of the album, but you can’t deny that the song is soulful, powerful and emotional. It’s more rock then ballad and Deen’s voice is outstanding once again. Definitely reminds me of Journey.

Strangers To This Life – it’s time to fire proceedings back up again. Deen goes full Perry for this moody rocker that might have sounded pretty comfortable on Journey’s Trial By Fire.

Better World is another upbeat melodic rocker that has a strong European feel and a good mix of Journey too. The verse and bridge-to-chorus is pure Journey, while the chorus is more Euro-melodic rock, with keyboards a plenty. Of course there is a tasty Aldrich solo and some rolling bass thumping from Jack. Alessandro takes a writing credit with Magnus Karlsson on this one.

How To Mend A Broken Heart is a ripping version of the brilliant Eclipse track. This has all the energy of the original and Deen sounds brilliant singing it. That rasp in his voice is a joy! For those that don’t know Eclipse, let this be an introduction to the fabulous Swedish band.

A sparse piano ballad to close the album. While another ballad might not be on the menu for some, In The Name Of The Father is a stunner almost worth the price of the album alone. Deen’s vocals send a shiver down the spine as just his voice and a piano deliver the first half of the song. There’s orchestral backing and then the full band chimes in. Truly a magnificent, epic ballad and the song itself (from Alessandro on his own) is brilliant. Steve Perry would be proud…

So there you have it folks. On paper, the lineup looks amazing and on record the guys deliver. More a product of Alessandro’s pen and production efforts, but the performances by the guys are what makes these songs come to life.
We’ve always known that Deen Castronovo is a freak drummer and an amazing vocalist, but this album propels him into the spotlight and he excels in both roles.
I’d love to see these guys hit the road, I can only imagine the setlist, but duties with their main bands will no doubt curtail any fan hopes.

Deen CastronovoJack Blades and Doug Aldrich. Put these three rock titans together in a band and you have the exciting new hard rock/melodic rock supergroup REVOLUTION SAINTS.

On bass, and co-lead vocals on a few tracks, Jack Blades is well known for his melodic, yet hard rocking approach to songwriting and playing via multiple classic albums by his main band Night Ranger, as well as with the Damn Yankees and the Shaw/Bladesreleases.

On guitar, Doug Aldrich was excited to lend his fiery blues guitar attack to such a unique and melodic band. Doug, who just left Whitesnake after a fruitful 12 year run (including co-writing 2010s critically acclaimed "Forevermore" release) and also of Burning Rainand formerly of DIO, has a deep pedigree and is one of today’s most respected guitarists.

You can tell by the name - and the names involved - that REVOLUTION SAINTS isn’t your average rock 'n roll band. The new album brings back the classic melodic rock style to where it should be: inspiring, uplifting vocals, soaring melodies and musicianship to die for. It’s completely badass.

The project is the vision of Frontiers' President Serafino Perugino, who for years had hoped to work on a project where Deen would be the lead vocalist. Having previously worked with all three artists on different projects on Frontiers, having Deen, Jack and Doug on board together was a dream come true for Perugino.

With production overseen by in-house Frontiers man, Alessandro Del Vecchio (who also contributed to the songwriting and played keyboards on the album), the recording process took place in Portland, Oregon during the summer of 2014.

REVOLUTION SAINTS' music is played with a heart and soul and that highlights the passion and the enthusiasm of three of the best rock and all-around musicians in the game today. Truly, this will be a release that you cannot afford to miss. Lovers of melodic rock will fall in love all over again with REVOLUTION SAINTS.

FRONTIERS MUSIC Srl SET TO
RELEASE LEVEL 10

An International All-Star Metal Line Up including
Vocalist Russell Allen; Bassist Mat Sinner;
Guitarist Roland Grapow and Alex Beyrodt
Drummer Randy Black and Keyboardist Alessandro Del Vecchio

Frontiers Music Srl, is pleased to announce another impactful release to kick 2015 off with a (heavy metal) bang: LEVEL 10’s debut album, “Chapter One”. Set for release in the EU on January 23rd and in North America on January 27th, the album features 12 songs performed in a true Metal style, with a distinctly contemporary edge.

LEVEL 10 was born out of a collaboration between American powerhouse singer Russell Allen (SYMPHONY X, ADRENALINE MOB, ALLEN LANDE) and the iconic German producer/bassist Mat Sinner (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER). The pair met a few times during the years and swore to each other to find the time to work together. That occasion finally came about when Frontiers President, Serafino Perugino managed to connect with the two and get them committed to the creation of a new Metal album which could meld the more contemporary and aggro sound of Adrenaline Mob with the more traditional European Power Metal assault of Primal Fear.

Sinner quickly put together a killer lineup for the album, including his Primal Fear cohorts Randy Black (on drums) and Alex Beyrodt (on guitar) and called Roland Grapow (ex-Helloween) and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Voodoo Circle) to complete the lineup on lead guitar and keyboards respectively. On the songwriting side – besides the band members – the album also sees contributions from Magnus Karlsson, Carsten Schulz, Sander Gommans and Amanda Somerville.

While the actual recording took a long time due to the “day job” commitments from the various musicians involved in this release, the result is an outstanding and super heavy – yet infectiously melodic - album! With Allen’s over-the-top vocals and a powerful lineup second to none, the resulting album is – from start to finish a true delight for all heavy metal fans!

“The target was to write and record a traditional and powerful heavy rock album with some of the best players in this genre” says Sinner. “The result is just amazing. Russell’s voice is in a fantastic shape, kick ass songs and I’m really proud of the album!”.

Russell Allen concludes: “When Mat and I met many moons ago we became fast friends. He's a great talent and a great guy. We had talked about working together in some way and it took shape in the form of level 10. I'm very excited for the world to finally hear this great record!”
